First I decided to use a seat slider. the seat from the actual car is designed to last 10-15 years, to actually be comfortable for extremely long road trips (so good even for endurance races), are fully adjustable I've done some searching on this sub and found comments suggesting quality/detail differences favoring ASR, but with overall build "sturdiness" going to the Rig Metal Plus. Fortunately this would not be difficult due to the adaptability of 8020 rigs. Nice rig, I'm so glad RigMetals stepped up and makes it easier for folks to get t slots in the US. Basically, the best would be one that is not flexy and allows you to be in the correct seating position. have all been used to make decent DIY cockpits.
