I will be grinding the concrete to clean off old vinyl and adhesive to prep the floor for gluing. After about 24 hours, the paint was dry, and all the cat urine subfloor was already covered with Kilz Original primer paint. I will be installing on concrete slab in the basement and on wood subfloor in the rest of the home. It is also used for hiding unpleasant odors. My father told me about some Kilz oil product than can help seal the floor. Not all houses used to use a true subfloor, many had just plain tongue and groove pine boards 3/4” thick nailed directly to the floor joists. Ah, I feel your pain. it’s garbage.
